While the Evolution tournament series frequently draws a high number of international players, EVO 2012 seemed to exceed what we’ve seen in the past by a pretty wide margin. Noticing this, a member of our forums named Acku compiled this data from the quarter-finals on for Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, The King of Fighters XIII, and Soul Calibur V to gain a clearer perspective on where all these fighters hailed from. He passed along his findings from this weekend, so we thought it would be neat to put these on the front page for everyone to check out. They provide an interesting look at both the overall diversity of the tournament and how each country’s qualifying players stood up against the pressure of making it to semi-finals and top eight. I would like to extend a huge thanks to Acku for compiling all of this data and making it readily available in our forums. Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012Quarter-Finals
