For those of you who missed Cross Counter Live tonight, the episode’s archive is already available courtesy of theStream.TV. Mike Ross took over hosting duties by himself tonight, but he was joined by guests Marn and Justin Wong to discuss a bit of UFGT8 and play Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Sandwiched between those two segments was Alex Jebailey, who made a variety of announcements for the upcoming CEO 2012 tournament in Orlando, including the revelation of a few international players as well as some exciting King of Fighters news. In addition to Daigo, foreign competitors B.A.L.A., Kayane, Gamerbee, and Air will be making their way to Florida come June in order to tackle some of the best the United States has to offer in their respective games. Jebailey has also added a bonus of $500 to the King of Fighters XIII prize pool and, in order to spur competition, has promised a $100 bonus to any US citizen who can take first, though it won’t be an easy feat with B.A.L.A. in town. As a pit stop on the Road to EVO, CEO 2012 is also set to offer bonuses for first place finishers, which break down like so:
With all this, plus booths from Mad Catz, AverMedia, and Broken Tier, this is sure to be a packed event that you won’t want to miss. Be sure to register your spot before June 10th to take advantage of early registration bonuses. Source: Cross Counter Live |
