Road to EVO 2012: Midwest Championships 2012 Trailer, Tournament Information

Midwest Championships is back for its 19th year, and returns to the EVO Tournament Season for the 4th year running with a brand new trailer. As part of the Road to EVO 2012, top-placing competitors will receive those precious EVO seeding points for the big show this summer, making their lives just a little easier in the tournament’s immense bracket. All the information you’ll need to know has been included below the trailer, but you can also head over to the tournament’s official thread in the Shoryuken forums if you need clarification.

In its 19th year, MWC 2012 is bigger and better than ever! More games will be announced as we finalize the schedule. Part of the EVO series for a 4th year!

$25 cover charge for your first tournament. $10 per tournament entry fee.

Please note the ONLY items allowed for use in the tournament are unmodified pads and standard joysticks. NO sticks allowed that use only “buttons” for movement. Turbo is not allowed in any tournament. If you have a question about a specific stick/pad to use, it is probably allowed.
