Capcom-Unity just detailed the next leg of the Cross Assault competition. This week, one of the previously eliminated contestants will have a chance to get back into the game.

The “Scramble Battle Resurrection” challenge will have active contestants team up with eliminated contestants to fight it out in SFXTK’s scramble mode. The teams will compete in a round robin tournament, with the highest ranked eliminated player and the lowest ranked active player going into the Elimination Match. If the eliminated player can pull out a win he will be let back into the competition with the active player being eliminated in his stead.

Yesterday, Team Tekken took another crushing blow, as TFA Hornett defeated Bronson in the Elimination Match.  The match was a real nail biter, with both players trading games back and forth.  It was a gutsy move by Team Street Fighter to target Bronson, as he was one of the most controversial picks for the competition as many felt his skill level was too high.  TFA Hornett rose to the challenge though with a great attitude, despite having already competed in two Elimination Matches prior.
