Music and rhythm game website Zenius-I-vanisher has just recently opened up their arcade locator tool beyond just music and rhythm games and arcades to include other genres – including fighting games.

Powered by Google Maps, the arcade locator tool allows players to search for arcades by area in just about any region around the world. Searches can further be narrowed down to individual countries and even cities, allowing players to search for arcades either near their own homes or in any city they plan to visit in the future.

In addition to this, the tool will also list the games in any selected arcade. The games themselves are color coded dependent on the condition of the cabinet being used (with green being the best color, indicating a well maintained cab, and red being outright broken).

The only downside of the tool right now is that, due to only recently being opened up to other genres, the database for fighting games (and other non-music games) is still pretty incomplete.  Some arcade locations (including some well known ones for fighters) still don’t have their fighting games listed. That said, the admins are currently working to rectify this and will add machines and locations on request.
